The location changed from the top of the PeopleMover platform to the entrance to Tomorrowland.Īstro Orbitor looks great, but the ride’s location close to the Hub of Disneyland isn’t so great. The moving planets add to the fun of the ride. This version is reminiscent of brass astronomical models from centuries ago. When we visited recently, two rockets weren’t working so the line moved slowly.The centerpiece of Rocket Jets is a rocket that would look at home on a NASA launchpad, complete with three prominent letters-USA.įrom the central rocket, twelve arms holding open-air rocket vehicles radiate in all directions. The exciting thing is that you can see a long ways across Magic Kingdom including including Tomorrowland, Space Mountain, Tron Lightcycle, and on into Fantasyland. The spinning is fairly intense compared to Dumbo, Magic Carpets, or Triceratops spin. You do sit one in front of the other so you will want to be friendly if you ride with someone.įrom there you will raise up on arms like Dumbo and spin around the center. Each adult usually gets their own rocket. When its your turn to ride 1-3 people can ride in each rocket, like a parent with their one or two small kids.
